About Monica Sood, M.D.

Monica Sood, M.D. is a board-certified anesthesiologist who has also completed her internal medicine residency. She has trained extensively in functional medicine, which is an area of medicine focused on getting to the root cause of disease.

Working with patients who suffer from generalized fatigue, aches and pains, unexplained rashes, brain fog, gastric discomfort, and other symptoms, Dr. Sood’s goal is to collaborate with them to figure out exactly what may be causing their symptoms. This functional medicine approach is a process and can take time, so she often uses customized IV Therapy programs to give her patients more immediate relief. IV infusions have become a large part of Dr. Sood’s practice.

About Kaya Health and Wellness

We offer a variety of services ranging from customized IV Therapy programs, based on a person’s specific needs, as well as IV drips’s for general health and wellness.

Our IV Therapy Drips are designed to replenish vitamins and minerals that are commonly deficient. There are many benefits of getting IV infusions. For example, generally when we take supplements by mouth, they are not necessarily absorbed fully. With IV’s there is 100% absorption as the nutrient is going directly in to the bloodstream. Our patients in the Middletown, Little Silver and Long Branch areas often feel the benefits immediately.

We offer infusions for general wellness, for repletion of deficiencies, High dose Vitamin C, Detoxifying infusions such as Glutathione, and IV’s for anti-aging. We also offer IV’s which have been used to help people with addictions and dependencies.
